329. What is the second part of Confession before the pastor?
After we have confessed our sins, the word of Christ's Absolution is spoken by our pastor. By it, our sins are fully and completely forgiven before God.
2 Corinthians 5:18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.
Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
