For surely it is not angels that He helps,

but He helps the offspring of Abraham.

(Hebrews 2:16)

God has made a great distinction between people and angels. And this distinction revolves around the great word of Hebrews 2: redemption. The angels have no need of redemption. People need redemption.

After the great cosmic battle where Satan and his angels rebelled against God, God hardened the fallen angels in their sin.
