Lutheran Basics is the entry-level educational opportunity typically used as the entry point for those interested in joining the membership at Redeemer who have no prior understanding of what the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod believes, teaches and confesses. It is also sued as a refresher for existing members on the basic doctrines of the Christian faith.
The class goes through St. Paul's letter to the Church in Rome. It covers twelve sections and takes roughly 6-8 sessions to complete. The course notes available below are offered to be a constant refresher for both those going through the class and those who are merely interested in what Lutherans teach.
