Personal History

Amanda was born to Thomas and Lucinda (Lewis) Stellingstone on November 27, 1957, in Asheville, NC. Both parents were instructors at Blue Ridge Community College. Thomas taught Economics while Lucinda taught Music. She graduated in 1976 from T.C. Roberson High School in Asheville. She went on to begin studying pre-Law at University of Tennessee at Knoxville. While at UT, she met Joseph Spinoza, a pre-Med student. They were married on March 3, 1979.

Both students were getting short on money by the end of their sophomore year. Another student had an uncle who wrestled for Southeastern Championship Wrestling in Knoxville. They auditioned. Amanda was accepted at once. They weren't too thrilled with Joseph, but Amanda declared they were a package deal.

Joseph was trained and set in a feud against Archie Gouldie (Mongolian Stomper). Amanda served as his manager for a while, but she turned against him shortly after they returned from their honeymoon. The two of them feuded against each other in several mixed tag matches. Joseph teamed with Natalia, the older sister of his future tag team partner Boomerang. Amanda and Natalia feuded greatly while in SECW. They seemed to get along together once both came over to the MVW.

Although wrestling had started out as a way to pay their college expenses, Amanda and Joseph decided that they wanted to make this their career instead of Law and Medicine. Amanda switched her major to Business Administration. She graduated in 1984.

While in the MVW, Amanda focused on the business aspect of the tag team entrusted to her care. After almost thirty years as a manager and wrestler, she retired from the ring. During her career, she and Joseph had five children. Most stayed out of the wrestling business. Their youngest son, Jonathan, came in as a referee in 2006.

Gimmick

Amanda claims to be the daughter of Al Costello (original member of the Kangaroos).
